Our school values and respects the individual differences in each child with varied learning styles and rate. Individual attention is given to each child for our classes are small.

Our curriculum is organized thematically. With guided learning and through play, children will learn pre-kindergarten readiness skills, strengthen their fine and gross motor development, practice good self-help hygiene knowledge, develop human relations in accepting others as unique individuals, negotiate in non-violent approaches when conflicts arise, practice good manners.

We use bilingual teaching approaches in helping children in acquiring Chinese language approach in helping the children in acquiring Chinese language during the time they are at school. All activities will be conducted in dual languages, i.e. English and Chinese.

They will learn the receptive/expressive dual language while participating in activities that promote:

  • Art
  • Music/movement
  • Dramatic play
  • Gross/fine motor
  • Language
  • Math Concept
  • World around us
  • Science/cooking
  • Computer knowledge
  • Blocks and manipulative

Other activities:

We will deviate from our daily schedule on Fridays to provide fun activities for the children. There will be Sing-along, Walking and Study Trips, Science/cooking projects, celebration of special holidays and festivals of all cultures, e.g. the Chinese New Year Lion Dance, and speakers from the community and parents. This is our way to teach diversity to the children.
